What happens to what you write

The short version, in the order it matters.

We do not keep what you write

Your description, your recording and the letter itself exist only while the page is open. There is no database table for them — closing the tab ends them. That is why a refresh loses your text, and why you should download the letter before you leave.

But Google sees it

To classify your problem and write the letter, what you type or say is sent to Google’s AI service and processed under Google’s terms. We cannot control what happens there. “We don’t keep it” is not the same as “nobody else sees it”, and you should know that before you write something sensitive.

We never file anything for you

The letter is a draft. You check it, you sign it, and you send it yourself — by e-Doręczenia, post or in person. If you believed we had filed it and we had not, you could miss a legal deadline, so we would rather be blunt about this than polite.

What we do keep

Monthly counts, with no content and no date: how many letters were written, how many found a legal basis, how many were downloaded and how many you told us you sent. Each is counted on its own, by kind of case, voivodeship, interface language, whether the letter is to an office or a private party, and how you sent it — never two together. Nothing in them identifies you or links two letters to the same person. We need them to report how many people the project helped.

No account needed

The whole flow works without signing in. We do not ask who you are, and your IP address is used only to stop abuse of the service, never stored against your letter.

Your rights over your data

If you have an account you can download everything we hold and delete it, both in one click. If you never signed in, there is nothing to download or delete — we did not record anything.
